The relationship between peptides and hair is an interesting one. As previously stated, the research regarding peptides is fairly sparse in general and they are more experimental at this time. Furthermore, some associated with hair growth, have been "flagged" as potentially risky by the US FDA. These include peptides like thymosin beta-4, which is used frequently in hair regrowth serums, and BPC 157, which is used frequently in healing post-surgical procedures (like hair transplants). However, other peptides have a lot of anecdotal safety and efficacy data from patients sharing experiences online. This includes copper peptides, which are probably the most popular for use in hair growth. So I think a "cautiously optimistic" approach to hair peptides is warranted.
